Hello dolls.

This Is my top products of 2013 post.
The list was endless but I decided to whittle it down to this lovely bunch..

In no particular order....
My naked palettes. 3 palettes millions of looks. They have got me through every night out. Every day time look. Every time I wanted to just jazz up an outfit :)
These are my staples and I know they are gonna be seeing me right through 2014 aswell.
Mac studio fix foundation. I love a full coverage foundation and I try loads and loads foundations but I always come back to this. I love the coverage and the fact it last all day even on a night out after  sweating on the dance floor.
HD brows palette. Yet again a product I have come back to.
It's staying power is second to none and I just love the angled brush it comes with.
Mac vanilla pigment . Another product I can't live without . Love this for highlighting my inner corners of the eye, and under my brow and sometimes I will highlight the cheekbones.
Real tequniques brushes. I can't even explain how good these are :)
Everything blends perfectly. If you havnt already tried them.. Then do it.
Loreal volume million lashes excess.. I just can't find a mascara like it. And I've got loads to choose from including Chanel but this beauty is just my all time fave. Repurchased this about 5 times and I just love it. Nothing make my eyes pop as much as this does.
My ultimate spot remover , this was a product reccomended to me by my boyfriend so i have him to thank for this. I have quite hormonal skin. If I eat bad, drink alcohol or have a sleepless night then out comes a spot. Even if I'm stressed, or just the time of the month that every lady hates then my face flairs up.. But this keep it's at bay, pop this on every night and the spot is reduced, a couple of nights later and the spot is gone. It's changed my face and life.
Mac lipsticks.. It could be any colour I love them all but recently all I've been wearing is rebel. I love the price, the colour range, the textures and pigment.
They complete every outfit for any occasion.
Maybelline gel eyeliner , another product I have repurchased. I love it's staying power and the fact it's a highly pigmented black colour. It glides on super easy and doesn't dry up.
Illamasqua pigment in beguile.. Wow this stuff Is like fairy dust. I use this ever so slightly on my eyelids over the smokey eye I have created for that little bit of glitz. It's perfect for this time of the year with parties but this is a must for me every night out.
Loreal lumi magique concealer . A dupe for YSL touché éclat. To be honest I love this a lot more than my YSL one. I think it blends in waaay more easily , lasts longer and reflects the light away from my dark circles a lot better. Try it if you don't belive me :) nothing brightens my under eyes like it.
My 107's my all time favourite eyelashes .. Been using these for about 4 years now. Every single night out or special occasion these are what are glued to my eyes. I absolutely adore them. They just set off my whole face and i sometimes wear them in the day aswell. Love eylure lashes... Top tip.. Don't cry in them or go to sleep with them on. They won't be worth a thing the next day haha . You can re wear these loads aswell.
This is a recent find but I know I just can't live without it. It makes my lips super soft and smells and tastes amazing. Especially in these cold months my lips get very dry. A little scrub from this and my lips are good as new :)
Celebrity sun self tanning lotion. I love this products . It smells amazing , looks amazing and lasts ages. I have a full review of this product on my blog.

My final product is the rimmel stay Matt powder.. This little baby was intoduced to me by Tanya burr. I have quite oily skin so to mattify this just does the job. I've tried many expensive powders but nothing is better than my good old rimmel stay Matt powder. It has great staying power. Keeps my excess oil at bay and doesn't make my make up look too cakey, plus it's purce friendly too.

That concludes my 2013 top beauty products.
Link yours down below. I love trying to products :)

Hello dolls

With the new year only a few days away and the fact that I'm going to a party with my legs on show. I thought this is the perfect time to give my body a good old exfoliate.
I still have bits of tan left over from Christmas Day and of course I want a nice even base to reapply my new layer of tan for when I go out.
I've never used this scrub before and usually only ever use exfoliating gloves, so I'm excited to see if it's going to take of my patchy tan :)
This scrub says it's "the ultimate super- smoothing body butter" and says that rough elbows will be silky.
Dry shins become suspiciously shimmery and the bumps are gone from the back of the arm :)
So hopefully as all I want to do is scrub any old tan off this will do the job.

The first thing I notice when I pump it out is that it has little pink particles in it.. And the smell is your signature soap and glory scent, just like Chanel's coco mademoiselle :)

This scrub foams up like a wash aswell which I quite enjoy.

Well I'm quite impressed, it's taken most .. Not all but most of my tan off and it never irritated the skin.
With some scrubs (like sugar crush by soap and glory) I feel like there isn't enough grains in the product for it to be exfoliating and I do like a good scrub.
This had the right grain ratio that I want and my skin feels super duper soft and i can't wait to lather myself in a soap and glory moisturiser.

This was a present from my boyfriend so big massive pat on the back to you for getting me this :) I love love love it
Giving this product a 5/5 and I'm usually not a big fan of soap and glory products really.
I can see this being a repurchase :)

Hello again dolls.
Just a post on urban decays newest family member the naked 3 palette.
I was so so excited when I seen the rumours doing there rounds on the blogesphere.
As soon as I seen it on the shelves in my local debenhams I had to have it.
I was already in a deep love with my naked 2 and has asked for naked 1 for Christmas so I just wanted the whole set.
What a palette this is.. Rose gold colours galore I love rose gold and it's such lovely  pinky shades. My only doubt is that it may not suit everyone, but upto now I love mine.

Here are some pics:

How lovey is the blackheart shade?
I love this palette and again with urban decay it's got great pigmentation, great shadow names and the longevity is second to one.
I'm a little bit in love <3

Hey dolls
Just a quick one.. Popped to tesco before and bought these 4 skincare products by loreal.
Havnt used anything from this selection yet. I thought with the new year coming in that I should throw out the dregs of my old cleanser, toner and eye make up remover and have a new one.. After all I got new day and night cream and loads of skincare for Christmas so why not haha. (Any excuse )

I've just used it then as part of my evening routine and my skin feels lovely and soft and cleansed. But we shall see as my skin is temperamental

Had anybody used anything from this range? Thoughts?

Hello lovelies

For Christmas I recieved the naked palette .
For those who don't know what this is. It's a palette from urban decay full of neutral colours.
This is just a post on what the palette looks like including swatches.
I already have naked 2 and I just adore it so I knew I would love the first edition of the naked family .

How fabulous.
I've only been able to use this a few times an upto now I absolutely love it.
I love the colours, the texture , the pigment and also the vast array of colours to make any neutral eye.
My only problem is the packaging as it's velour and attacts dirt . And the brush that comes with it isn't double ended as with the other two palettes as I really like the fluffy blending brush to blend it all together and it's quite handy being all in one.
I love the fact you get a mini primer potion in this kit. I've never tried this before. So I'm excited to give this a go.

What do you think of this palette?

Hey lovelies
Just a little first impressions blog on the loreal skin perfection 15 second cleansing oil.
I have only just bought this a few hours ago after seeing it on offer in my local boots store.
I've just used it to take off today's make up and I've got to say it really has taken my makeup off in lightening time. I had to gently scrub a little on my eyes but I was wearing quite a lot of eye make up.
The best thing about this oil is that it's for every skin type .. Which is great news for me because I'm oily skinned and the thought of putting more oil on was putting me off.
But to my suprise it's like a dry oil which really deep cleaned my skin.
And the scent is really nice aswell :)
I'm gonna keep going with this oil and report back to you all on how I'm getting on with it but so far so good :)
Plus you only need a small ammout for your whole face so I'm guessing a little goes a long way .
Upto now I'm impressed but like I said ile let you all know how I've got on .

Has anybody else tried this product ?

Hey lovelies ,
If your anything like me then you love a nice bronzed skin all year round. Especially at this time of the year when it's the party season.

My tan of choice is this tan ,celebrity choice.
This tan is a newish tan launched in my home city of Liverpool and we all know how much us scouse girls love a good tan, and if it's one thing we do know it's our fake tan.

I was lucky to win this from a competition held by themselves and @scousebirdprobs
Here is what I won

They send me a huge bundle of tan and I must say I've been impressed.
I've never tried a tan lotion so I've got nothing to compare it to but I like it a lot more than my usual tanning mousse.
When I applied this I was so worried that it would turn out streaky. It's is kind of hard to blend onto the skin so I was kind of just painting my skin if that makes sence.
So I applied this all over my body and hoped for the best. When I woke up (although this tan doesn't really need much developing time and plus your half way to your perfect color by just applying it.) I was greeted by the most beautiful colour, I was all over glowing a fabulous shade of brown (not orange). My bed sheets where not stained and I smelt amazing... Oh did I forget to mention that this tan doesn't smell of biscuits it smells of baby powder. So if like me your boyfriend shares the same bed as you he won't have to put up with you smelling of Wotsits for days :).
I opt for the darkest shade of the lotion because I like to look as dark as I can. Especially without looking orange.

Once I washed it off I was worried it would loose it's colour. Especially on my legs, for some strange reason tan never stays on my legs , but after my shower the tan was perfect.
No streaks
No lines
No smell
No orange
And my legs had even given in and soaked up this beautiful bronzed look.

I would buy this tan as I won this set and they always have offers on so it's a win win for me :)
I would recommend this tan to everyone and is a must especially in this party season :) or like me all year round.

Go and check them out on twitter @celebritysun and you can buy the tan via their website www.celebritysuntan.com

Hello dolls
So I'm a little late with the lipstick posts but it's something that I love, lipstick is definatly one of my favourite things , ile wear any colour (bar orange) and not afraid to experement.
My Top 5 lipsticks for this season are as follows ..

MAC ruby woo... This is just a classic . Every woman should own this lipstick, the red is the most beautiful shade, my only downfall is that it is a Matt finish and it really dries my lips out, but if I put a balm underneath it then I'm good to go. I'm sure people love the fact that it is a Matt lipstick as it has great longevity and Matt is very on trend this season, but for me this is a classic all year round never just winter :)

Rimmel Kate moss 107 lipstick.. I first seen this lipstick when I was watching YouTube videos of zoella and as soon as I read the description box and seen what lipstick it was I had to buy it. I feel that this lipstick looks different on everybody, it's a darker plum colour than ruby woo has more purple tones but not as purple as my next guest ...

...MAC rebel lipstick , I absolutely adore this shade I feel it goes with every one if my outfits for the autumn /winter . And it's very striking on the lips aswell. It has a nice finish to it and lasts all day long :) it Is one of my favourite lipstick shades ever.

Next on my list is the loreal color riche lipstick in the colour 461 creme de rouge. This lipstick is a red no doubt about it, however it isn't as deep as ruby woo and the longevity on the lipstick isn't as good, but if you are looking for a low cost red colour I would definatly recomend this.

And last but not least is another loreal color riche in 325 ferric fuschia this one my favourite until I discovered rebel, it's such a lovely colour and it has bits of glitter in so it's extra festive :)
The color riche lipsticks glide on easy to the lips and don't dehydrate which is why I always pick them.

Below are all the swatches of the lipsticks mentioned above :) top being ruby woo and the bottom being Lorel colour riche 325

What's your favourite festive lipstick? Any recommendations?

Hey dolls,
I'm feeling super festive what with Christmas being 3 DAYS AWAY, and thought I would do a review on what I would say the most festive shower gel of all time.
This shower gel is  limited edition from LUSH and is only sold over the Christmas period .Ever since I discovered snow fairy, year on year at Christmas time I have purchased it. It's pink, it's glittery and it smells absolutely Devine. What's not to love?

I'm a proper girly girl is anything pink and glittery will always put a smile on my face, the thing that gets me to repurchase this every year is the smell ... Always the smell that gets me, there is nothing like it. The bottle says that the smell is of "candy floss and pear drops " which I think it does.
When I say glittery, it doesn't stick to the skin and once your washed your glitter free,in fact I hardly notice that there is any glitter in it.

Every Christmas I love to lather up with this especially on Christmas Eve, the smell just overtakes my sences and fills my whole home with the beautiful smell of snow fairy, I sometimes put this in my hair aswell and the smell lasts until my next wash (every other day) which I just love, and after every wash my skin feels soft and smells amazing.
A little goes a long way when it comes to this product, you only need a little amount and it larthers up into a nice consistency.
I love that it is an organic product too so no little nasties and I love what LUSH as a brand believes in.

It's now a Christmas tradition for this shower gel to be placed in our bathroom every year.

My verdict:
5 stars, 10 out of 10, I adore this product and I'm so glad it was bought for me on year , go and have a sniff of it when you next walk past your nearest lush store.

You can buy this at your local LUSH store , if you don't know where that is then just follow the scent ...
And also online at www.lush.co.uk
It retails at 100g -£3.50, 250g-£6.85 and the one I bought was the 500g-£10.95

What's your favourite festive showe gel?  Do you like snow fairy?

Hello again

Just a quick review on the illamasqua sculpting duo pallet .
I bought this from my local illamasqua store in Liverpool, and has the most amazing experience, the assistant really looked after me.
I was placed on a chair and she set to work on me trying out all this seasons must haves, after she had finished I was so impressed I bought the lot.
She made me look amazing and I left the store fully confident I could recreate the look at home

One of the products I bought was this little gem

Don't get me wrong this is an amazing product but due to my own personal preference I would prefer the bronzer to be a little darker as I like quite a dark contour product plus it doesn't blend very well on my skin.
But the highligher my my my I was pleasantly surprised it's just a beautiful shimmer that looks gorgeous on the cheekbones and smells of vanilla.. What is not to like about it.
I also bought the highlighter brush and all I can say is that it is okay... Not the best brush not the worst.
So now I use the real techniques contour brush to sweep this over my cheekbones.

Overall I probably wouldn't repurchase this just because It just wasn't for me and didn't last very long either. If they sold the highligher seperatly however then that would be on my Christmas list.

Swatches :)

For the price and compared to the sleek contour kit i would pick the sleek one . Again just because it blends better and is just the right shade for me.

This product retails for £26.00 on the illamasqua.com website

Has anyone tried this? Should I give it another try??

It's that time of year again when the soap and glory Christmas bag goes better than half price
YAY

*

I have received this gift 3 years In a row and I am still trying to get through the creams etc so this year I'm not going to bother repurchasing it. The first year that I bought this I was in a que outside boots and a man literally grabbed the case from my hands and ran off with it ( horrible experience ).

Although if you are thinking of buying this for yourself or a loved one, do it.. It's such  an amazing gift and there is nothing better than being soap and glorified especially in the cold winter months. They will be smelling of the famous soap and glory scent all year round..

Every year you have to be quick to get this, it's a must have present for anyone who loves a good pamper.

If I did receive this though to any of my family or boyfriend I wouldn't be dissapointed *hint *

You can buy this product from boots.com

*picture was taken from the boots.com website

I have just went online and the boots site is currently unavailable ... Told you it would be popular
Hello again,
Twice in one day I must be mad , or just excited that I am finally blogging after years of loving make up and reading so many blogs daily.

Anyway... This blog post is on MAC's Mineralise skin finish in soft in gentle (if you didn't know by the blog title :) ) .
This is a product that I have seen on so many of the blogs that I have read, after a product has been featured on a few blogs I have to buy it, and that is what happened with this one.

This is a powder highlighter with just a bit of shimmer in it, after finally mastering-ish contouring I was able to use the product with ease, for a day or a night time look.Sweeping this on the highest part of my cheekbones for that amazing glow and highlight. I use the real techniques contour brush to blend this product on.

I have owned a few highlighters and this is by far one of the best I love how it looks on my cheeks and how it's not to much that I can wear it of a day time, plus it lasts all day.
The product itself I have had for 5 months and as you can see nearly looks as good as new and I have not hit pan either .. This makes me happy

After buying this it is a make up bag staple for me and I wear it every single day and I always get complements when I'm wearing it.

Here are a few swatches of the product on the back of my hand :

Unblended

Blended

This fabulous product retails for £22.00 on the MAC Cosmetics website and is definatly a product that I will be repurchasing.

Have you tried this highlighter before?

Thanks for reading

This is my first ever beauty box that I have ordered from latest in beauty, and my my I am impressed. The box is filled to the brim with fabulous beauty products. In the box I have only tried two items but different shades so I am really excited to get stuck in and try them out.

First things first the box is beautiful, no doubt about it. Little black box with a gold trim, as I have just received my box today it has definitely gave me that extra Christmas feeling.

How amazing is the box, super festive and extremely girly.

As soon as you open the box you are greated with this beautiful gold sprinkled tissue paper, which I would expect no less from The Glamour Beauty Edit
So far so good, now what's inside this beauty....

Taaaa daaaa...  Inside the box you get

HD Brows in 'foxy'
it includes a highlighter, a carbon shadow and two medium brown tone powders
Now I have tried the HD brows before in the colour Vamp and was very impressed with the product.

EyeKo Lash Curlers
These are limited edition blue velvet lash curlers , it featurs enhanced design for ultimate precision and ease for optimum curl. This includes spare silicone rubber pads that you are recommended to replace after 3 months

TONI&GUY Glamour firm hold hairspray
I have never tried any of the TONI&GUY range so I can't wait to give this a go I have a few parties planned this time of year what with it being Christmas and all.
The hairspray says that it will help you create the looks you want for that head turning style, at is right up my street.

Now this next product is by a Brand that I have always wanted to try especially the elasticizer .. He's you guessed it the next product is by Philip Kingsley.
It's the Philip Kingsley one more day dry shampoo.
It is a scalp refreshing soothing, leave in dry shampoo for all hair types. Perfect for adding volume and texture to your hair for the party season and for a quick spritz to refresh the hair the morning after.

Benefit they're real mascara
My sister has this and every time she puts it over her lashes I have a little bit of lash envy. It's a product that is quite well known in the blogging community and is something I have been desperate to try. The box states that 94% of consumers saw dramatic length & volume.

Balance me extra care radiance face oil.
I am quite abit obsessed with face oils,so with my current obsession and how cold it is outside this face oil couldn't have came at a better time. The face oil is 100% Natural Origin and you apply it before your moisturiser to enhance the skins natural lustre

And last but not least
Maybelline Baby Lips
I received the intense care baby lips, this is a product that I have previously tried and to be honest wasn't that impressed with but I tried the 'pink punch' baby lips. I found that it actually dried my lips out and the colour did not really suit my completion. With that said I am always one for giving a product a second chance and with the packaging claiming that it gives 8hr moisture and SPF 20 I will certainly try and love this product a little more.

Overall I am impressed with this beauty box and will definitely repurchase if they bring out another one. This box is really good to buy and separate the products to give as separate gifts or just give the whole box if you are feeling generous as a present or like me you buy the box for yourself so you can try these fabulous products out.

The box cost £14.95 and when I purchased it, it was free P&P, if you are wanting to buy thiis amazing box go to www.latestinbeauty.com
I find that is is a super affordable price to try out this seasons must haves.
