Hey guys

Now that is a long title.
Ever since I tried the glam glow facemask  my facemask obsession had grown.

We all know I suffer with breakouts and this week it's at it's peak.
My chin is over loaded with painful spots that not even my boi-ing concealer will cover :(.
So I decided I needed to invest in some new skincare products because quite clearly my current skincare isn't working, and effaclar duo just seems to burn my spots and create new infected looking ones instead of helping my skin. If you want a full review just comment below :)

I've seen a few bloggers talk about the Una Brennan range and wanted to really try it out myself.
I've heard the range has skincare that could help with my spotty skin.

I seen this on the shelf at my local boots and read the back of the product.
"Clear your skin of dirt, excessive oils and toxins which lead to breakouts with this pore purifying clay mask. it contains salicylic acid, proven to help unclog congested skin and oil- absorbing Dead Sea mud rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron for the perfect facial detox at home.
Avocado oil rich in vitamins A, D and E with acacia honey futher help skin rebalance itself to reveal a clearer , refreshed looking complexion.

After reading that , I was sure this was the product to banish my spots and give me that in house spa and pamper night all Sundays are made of.

I cleansed my skin and placed this all over my face and neck.

I love the smell of this, the bottle says leave on for 5 mins but I kept it on for 20mins as I found the smell luxurious and I was waiting for the mask to completly dry which it doesn't in the 5 minute time scale they say.
It reminds me of going for a full body massage, it's that smell that they have in the massage room.

I love how this feels on then skin.its a really nice tingly sensation which indicates to me that it's working well an doing it's job on my skin.

So I sat and soaked in the bath with this on my face and after 20 mins I rinced my face clean and then patted it dry.

My skin felt super soft and felt thoroughly cleansed.
Already my aching chin felt a lot less swollen and the spots on my jawline had dramatically reduced in size.
It doesn't feel drying on the skin at all but the skin does feel pert and more together again especially after a long working week.

I felt slightly detoxed if that makes any sence.

I would defiantly recommend this product especially if your looking for a good mask but don't want to spend a fortune.

This mask I bought from boots and cost me £5.99 (currently on offer usually £8.99)
I would pick it up on your next boots trip and see for yourself.
So inexpensive yet so impressive

What do you think?
Any skin clearing masks you would reccomend?

Hello again dolls,

This post has really excited me, for the only reason that i absolutely love this product.

I don't think this post can do it any justice and i would say to go to your local mac counter and swatch this baby.

Hello lovlies,

Everyone knows just how much i love MACs Rebel lipstick , so when i seen that they had a matching lip glass i knew i had to pick it up.

I know its spring and dark lip colours are not as favoured anymore, but for a night out and date night with my other half, this really is my go to lip colour.

Hello Dolls,

I was kindly sent this by Zoe from Face Value Beauty Blog to sample.

She had received the full collection of colours and offered to send me one to sample for myself, as a side note Zoe never charged me for this product, she sent me it out the goodness of her heart and made no money whatsoever by sending this product to me.
Isn't it lovely when bloggers are friendly to each other :)

I have always used the Burt's Bees lip balms as they just sort out any dry lips that I may have so i was super excited when she asked me if I would like one sending out.

Anyway, the colour that Zoe had sent me was summer twilight which is a plumy red colour with flecks of gold Shimmer in it..

I absolutely adore this colour, its defiantly very me !!

I love the packaging with its honeycomb detailing on the lid and the fact that this product is 100% natural is always a win.
Its a very sheer lip gloss so it would look fabulous both on its own and also over another lip colour to give it some shine.
It smells like MAC lipstick and is very nourishing to the lips.

For a lip gloss i would say the longevity of the product is quite good.

It hasn't launched yet but when it does it will retail for about £8.99

I am defiantly going to purchase a few more shades when they are released, I love a lip gloss especially one that has many good ingredients like Burt's Bees.

Thanks again Zoe for sending me this product and I'm looking forward to reading your review of the colours you received.

You can follow Zoe on twitter too she can be found here and make sure you check out her blog too

Well hello again lovelies,
Ive just tried the Glam Glow super Mud Clearing Treatment and I just knew I had to share my findings with you.

I received this sample from an event I have just been to and couldn't wait to try it. Glam Glow is something that I've been dying to try ever since Fleur De Force  mentioned it in quite a few of her videos.

If you don't know what Glam Glow is then here is what the glam glow website says:
Hello beauties,

I recently picked up this MAC paint pot in the colour Bare Study along side another one which I will feature soon, and I'm in love

I had never tried a paint pot before nor a cream eyeshadow but I'm a total convert.
Mac has yet again won my heart.
I love how it applies to the lid and under the eyebrow bone for a beautiful highlight. As you can see it's a goldy champagney colour that is just perfect for highlight.
I love how pigmented it is and also how long it stays on for. Litterally all night and doesn't budge.

I can see myself getting pretty obsessed with these.

£15 from the MAC website

Have you tried a mac paintpot before?
What's your favourite colour?
What would you recommend me to buy for my next purchase :)

Hello beauties,

Have you been reading my bargain beauty week posts this week? what do you think?

So if you have read yesterdays post, you will have seen that I done a mini primark beauty haul, and among that haul was a lipstick, and here it is.

My primark only had the one colour otherwise i would have bought more.
I love this product, I'm a real girly girl and anything pink excited me, especially when its pink glitter.
Hello again,
Just want to say a quick thank you for following this weeks series of bargain beauty.
I have loved doing this as it has allowed me to try out a lot of brands without breaking the bank and I can advise you the reader if you are thinking of buying any of the products I have mentioned in the last week.

Going to let you know now that this is a heavy pictured post

So Primark have brought out their own range of beauty product, just when you think primark could do no more they come out with this.
Im not a major Primark fan, i try and avoid my local one as much as possible, I mainly only go in for Pj's I mean you just cannot fault primark for its Pj's, bedding as I quite like it and its really affordable and when im going on holiday i just pick up a few pairs of sandals as im kind of disposable with sandals especially on holiday, I always ruin them.
So with that being said I was picking myself up some Jim jams and found myself wandering into the beauty section.

Mostly everything is under £2.00 which is just crazy.. so here is what i picked up
Your next instalment of bargain beauty week here on Alexandra Elizabeth Beauty.
Today's post is all about the Charles Worthington volume and bounce texturising spray.
I have heard so much about this ever since it came out as being a dupe for Oribe's Dry texturising spray.

Hello again lovelies,
This is the 4th part of my bargain beauty week, bringing you my must have bargain beauty products.
If you haven't seen my other post on the naturally radiant collection then click here

Naturally Radiant Brightening Renewal mask  75ml
Hey

This is my third instalment of Bargain Beauty week, if you don't know what this is, I post for one week my beauty bargain essentials all of which are under £10, so if you haven't checked out my last post you can here

So this is meant to be a dupe for the Liz Earle Hot cloth cleanser, but I haven't tried that so I can't compare.
Ive been using this on a daily basis for nearly 6 months now, and I absolutely love it. It leaves my skin feeling fabulous and thoroughly cleansed.

In the box you get 150ml of cleanser and a muslin cloth which is a pretty good deal

It stated that it awakens the skins natural glow whilst cleansing and gently exfoliating the skin, which i can vouch for. From the first use I noticed that it really improved the radiance of my skin.

The Cleanser is formulated with a unique energising complex and infused with kiwi fruit and mulberry extracts to help revive skins radiance and skin tone. It is also enriched with cocoa butter.

It is a cream consistency and it just melts onto my skin in the morning to wash away any oil that I have produced over night and any residue left over from my night time skincare routine, I also use this at night time where is melts away any makeup from the day with ease leaving my skin feeling fresh and fully cleansed.

I wet my face and rub this all over my skin for a few minutes making sure not to forget my neck and then I buff away with the muslin cloth provided in a circular motion which I have soaked and then rung out, which helps to gently exfoliate my skin.

I don't find that this has a overpowering smell at all, in fact it is quite pleasant, and the results are remarkable, it does exactly what it says on the box.

you can purchase this Here  usually £5.99 but on offer for £2.98 so buy two haha

Have you tried this ?

Does it compare to the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser?

Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow

Hello,

Another instalment of my budget beauty week, this post is all about the Rimmel wake me up foundation.
Check out my first post here
This is a product that i have been humming and ahhhhhing about this product for a while as Im not a major fan of drugstore foundations, mainly because of the shade range, the coverage and I just don't find that they are suitable for my oily skin.

Ive seen many beauty bloggers post about this foundation, and a friend mentioned this too me the other day and it made me think.
Whilst browsing the shelves in my local superdrug I seen this on the Rimmel Stand and it was on offer for £5.00 and couldn't not put it into my basket.

This Foundation claims to be an anti fatigue effect and radiant glow foundation, which I must agree with, it seriously brightens up my completion, which is always a must especially for a Monday morning.

Luckily I managed to find a shade right for me, its a lot more lighter than the picture above , don't know why it is showing up so dark but I'm sure you will see it when you check it out in your local drugstore.

I love that this comes with a pump which I think is so important as a hygiene point of view.
I would say that this foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation, and it stayed on all day, maybe about 7 hours in it starts to cling to my blemishes on my chin, but nothing a little touch up can't fix.

I also love how it blends on to the skin, it goes on evenly and blends perfectly, plus the smell of the foundation is heavenly , its like flowers which I love.
I would defiantly re purchase this foundation, and im going to pick up the matching concealer

You can buy this for £8.99 or on offer for £4.99 here
Have you tried this foundation?
What did you think?

Hello loves,
This is my first instalment of bargain beauty.
This is just a series of my most recent bargain purchases. All of which are readily available and under £10.
This is good if your not able to afford high end products or you just want to try out different brands and take a good look at the drugstore offerings.
I mean bargain beauty is always a good thing? Right?

I can't tell you how long I've been lusting after the lime crime velvetine lip colours.
I was unsure if I would suit a Matte lip , and the mac matte lipsticks just dry my lips completely out :(.
So I didn't know if I wanted to fork out for  another matte lip product that I just didn't know if I would like.
I was on a little shopping spree to my local SuperDrug and seen these little beauties on the MUA stand. MUA isn't normally a stand that I shop. I assume that the low prices must result in their products being of low quality.
I am happily mistaken, I spotted these velvet lip lacquers for only a mere £3 each. I was astounded and picked up the 2 colours that where left on the display. (MUA had hardly any products left on the stand) I know I would have picked up more if the full colour range was in stock.
