Hey beauties,
Another installment of weight loss Wednesdays.

I've been struggling abit , last week all I done was eat eat eat, nothing filled me and all I wanted was chocolate.
It was a great week of just eating everything I wanted , but obviously I would gain weight. I didn't get weighed last week so I can't tell you how much I did put on.

Who doesn't want that contoured kim kardashian effect?
I mean contouring is litterally everybody's best friend to acheive the flawless face.
Whether you want to slim down your nose, chisel those cheekbones, make your face a lot smaller or get rid of them horrid double chins, contouring is a makeup artists / obsessed best friend.

I usually conour with powders and contour brushes and just wanted to try something else.

I've been wanting a good contour kit for a while and have been looking at the crown brush contour palette and Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette for a little while and was waiting until payday to invest in one of these.

That was until I seen this beauty on amazon.

So this purchase was recommended to me by my lovely little sister Natalie , now it's no secret that Natalie and I both suffer with oily skin and horrible breakouts so we can always recomend skincare to one another and also any makeup that we think would make each of us look flawless.
Natalie suffers with spots all over her face, little blemishes here and there but all mine congregate on my chin and leave horrible scars.

We went shopping into boots and she wanted me to try, she said it worked really well on her skin and covered any blemishes she had all day. This persuaded me, if she liked it then I would . I gave it a go the sales assistant sat me down and placed this on my problem areas with a foundation brush, I like the foundation brush idea more than putting my fingers in because it makes it a lot more hygienic and stops the spot from spreading to other parts of my skin. I'm in the lightest shade of this as I'm very fair skinned. The concealer is anti bacterial aswell which is always a plus.

As soon as she buffed it into my skin she showed me the end result, I was made up with how it looked, at the time I didn't think it covered much but Natalie said to try it home and that's what I done.

Now it's a makeup bag staple, it only use it on my blemishes as I have a separate under eye concealer. I love that I can really build up the coverage without it looking cakey and it really stays put all day it really is industrial strength.I always power my concealer to set it too.

The texture is super creamy and it really blends into the skin with ease.
Considering I'm super oily this product really stays put, and the coverage is second to none

If your looking for a new concealer to cover up your blemishes then I would definatly suggest you pick this up.

You can purchase this from your local benefit counter or on the benefit website for £17.95

Hi all
I was lucky enough to be sent this sample of the shine like a celeb sparkle body cream*.

shine like a celeb is a company based in the UK it's where glitz, glam and style comes together , they aim to provide the wow factor in developing trendy beauty and fashion items for any occasion.

They say "Our sparkle body cream will make you feel glamorous as well as confident , with it's amazing shine to the skin and let's not forget it's breath taking fragrance and impressive jar it's a must try"

I've got to say the smell is just fabulous, I'm actually getting quite addicted to it if I'm honest. It's abit like baby powder.
My sister had a little dab of it and keeps telling me how good it smells and keeps coming back for more.
Not only does it smell gorgeous it goes onto the skin perfectly.
It feels really moisturising which isn't surprising at the body cream contains essential vitamins A,B,C and E . Vitamin A promotes fresh new skin and aids strengthening of protective tissue of the skin, the B vitamin helps the skin rejuvenate itself . C boosts the collagen in the skin and is a treatment against wrinkles and fine lies and vitamin E reduces the effects of stretch marks and a powerful antioxidant which protects the skin from UV light.

It really gives the skin a beautiful glow and luminosity which I love, and It feels really luxurious against the skin.
It gives off just the right amout of sparkle on the skin and is not over the top at all. You don't look like you have just been playing in glitter. It's a sophisticated sheen on the skin and I just know it will fabulous to wear on a night out , in the summer and on holiday on the arms legs and collarsbones for that extra bit of glam.

Here it is on the back of my hand . This picture doesn't do it any justice.

This product retails for £38 , which I think is quite a high price point for a moisturiser, but with all the vitamins in it, the smell and how it makes you feel and glow you can see why it's so highly priced.
The full size jar is just a dressing table must have. It's beautiful and really makes a statement and looks high end.

I for one can't wait until the summer to try this out.

My only downfall is that the fragrance doesn't stay on the skin for a long time and I'm still unsure if it's a good or bad thing.

Shine like a celeb also have an exclusive fashion range being developed in association with the London Hub Fashion.
You can buy this from www.shinelikeaceleb.com

Have you tried this before?

Running has been outdoors so what's better than running in the fresh air and taking in the surroundings and again it not costing a penny :)
Don't get me wrong ive had a few cheat days but I've mainly been good.
As you all know it's weigh day tomorrow so I will keep you all informed.

This is me and my friend running at a local run club yesterday I'm on the left :)

Hello Lovelies,

Ive heard so much about this product but its not something I've always wanted to try. I was neither here or there with it. But last week I seen it in boots and thought why not give it a go.

This eye roll on is a 2 in 1 Tinted eye roll on , its anti dark circles and has tinted concealer too with Caffeine and Lemon Extract

This product claims to have immediate coverage , an instant refreshing effect and 10x more caffeine. This product is great if you suffer with dark under eye circles and are looking for an immediate solution to hide them.
It states that the roll on has a refreshing effect which delivers a double effect on dark circles.it has immediate coverage as the texture is concentrated in mineral pigments. Long lasting , it camouflages dark circles through its subtle shade which complements your skin tone,
It also says that it reduces the look on fatigue with its 10 times more caffeine which is known for its stimulating action and lemon extract for it clarifying properties, and one extra benefit is that is contains a uv filter to help protect the eye from the harmful effects of the sun.

Product applied to the skin
Product blended into the skin
Ive got to be honest I've loved using this product and have wondered why i never have before, the colour is amazing on me and really does brighten my under eye area exceedingly well.
I love in the morning i just sweep it on under my eyes and this product really does cool, not too much but just enough for me to know its working wonders, and really wakes me up ready for the day ahead. It feels just perfect under my eyes like a mini spa treatment before i have to face the world.
I sometimes bring this product right down onto my cheek bones as like a highlight and it looks really lovely.
I like to put this on before my foundation after moisturiser and just sit and let it do its thing, it feels cool for a few mins so i let it just sink in. I'm going to look and see if they do one without pigment in only so that i can just sit there massaging around my eyes, if i do that with this Eye roll on then I'm guessing the amount of product coming out would be far to much.

I don't mind the smell either , its just a tiny bit lemony, but i guess that adds to the refreshing feeling, and it dries to a matt finish, and soaks into the skin without leaving any mess behind. which is just perfect for little miss oily over here.

I would repurchase this again, i know a bold statement but i really have loved having this in my morning routine.

You can buy this for £10.49 but its currently on offer for £7.99 on the boots website HERE

Have you tried this product?
Do you recommend any other under eye treatments?

Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow :)

Boots No 7 Beautifully Matte Foundation
For an all day shine free look with a soft even finish
Sunscreen Broad Spectrum
SPF 15
Hypo-allergenic
30ml or 1 US fl oz

Hello again
This post is influenced by a fellow blogger Anna From House of Bargain .
She tweeted that she had found a dupe for Nars sheer matte and Estee Lauder Double wear foundation, Now Estee Lauder Double Wear is one of my all time favourite foundations. I love the longevity, the coverage and the finish of the foundation but it does come with a higher price tag.So you can imagine my excitement when i heard this. I immediately tweeted back asking her to link me as soon as her review was up,
As soon as i read her review i knew i had to have it. I popped into my local boots and told the sales associate what i wanted and if she would recommend me a colour to buy.
Surprise surprise I was the second palest colour they had (Cool Vanilla) , but it is a perfect match for me. Ive never used No7 Foundation before and i don't know why i just wasn't expecting great things from them. She sat me down and used this colour matching tool agaist my face and neck which then took photos telling her my ideal shade.

She then proceeded to place it on my face and then covering up any blemishes with the matching concealer.
I was impressed. I loved the coverage it provided and it didn't look as cakey as Estee Lauder Double wear can look. She also never powdered my skin, and it looked lovely. I always powder my face , the whole of it as well not just my T-Zone as I'm scared my face will just slip off with its super oiliness, but i was surprised even after the consolation it was still on without me having to touch up or put powder on.
it also felt very light on the face which i loved.
So i Snapped it up , it was £13.50 and it was buy one get one half price to i bought the concealer also, although I'm not really that into the concealer, i feel like it sticks to all the dry patches and slides off every ware else even after powder.
The coverage is amazing on this product and is very build able , i just love how matte it stays all day without having to touch up.
it states that it will give unto 14 hours shine free , on my skin i would say about 10 hours then it does start to slide a little but I'm usually back from work and have taken my makeup off by the 10 hours of wear.
The only thing i would mention is that you have to work quick with this product if you want an even finish as it sets quite quickly on the skin.

Over all I'm really enjoying this product, I'm so glad i checked my twitter feed that day, although i wouldn't say it was as good as Double Wear but a very very close second, I'm going to try with another concealer because I think that is what is putting me of.It has a SPF 15 in as well which really impressed me. For the price / coverage/ longevity of the product and the fact that it as SPF in I'm well and truly sold.
So thanks again Anna

Give it a try especially if your oily I'm going to say this is the best matte drugstore foundation for you, and with No7 usually having vouchers for money off its worth to invest.

You can buy this foundation from your local boots no7 counter or online Here

Have you tried this foundation before?
Whats your thoughts?

Hey hey hey,

This is my first ever monthly favourites post.
First thing I realised that I had quite a lot of favourites this month but I managed to condense it down to my utimate January faves.

In no particular order:

Skinlite nose pore cleansing strips
About once a week I take one of these to my nose and remove blackheads.
These are a bargain at £1.50 from my local Home Bargains or if your from Liverpool Home and Bargain  haha!
I just wet my nose and stick it on for 15 mins then peel it off, I know its gross but I just love to see the blackheads come off, and the strips really have helped keep my blackheads at bay.
I couldn't find them on the Home Bargains website but I found some on Ebay Here :)

HD brows palette in Foxy
This is a brow must for me and was also featured on my 2013 beauty favourites, so I know its abit of a cheat but I absolutely love it, I don't know what i would do without it.
It stays on all day, and really matches my hair colour too.
You can buy this for £19.95 Here :)

Loreal Lumi Magique
I have this in the shade 1light, this brightens up my under eye area like no other .. yes even better than YSL touché éclat (for me anyway) and with half the price tag. No surprises for us though as we all know YSL own Loreal amongst other brands.
This product doesn't crease under my eyes and like i said really brightens up a multitude of user eye sins and can make me go from looking super sleepy to immediately refreshed and ready for the day.
I have needed this especially with the party season being at the beginning of the month.
This retails for £8.49 from Here

Eylure naturalites eyelashes number 107
These are a must for me, especially with January hosting so many different parties for me. I love the 107 set and quite often even wear them for a day time look (Not Scared of the bold eye in the daytime) but these eyelashes are an essential if I'm wanting to jazz up and outfit or really finish off my look.
Never cry / have watery eyes in these eyelashes though as they just form into one big clump, but if you look after them then they stay looking brand new for a few more wears.
These are £5.95 from super drug who currently have them on offer Here

Loreal glam shine balmy gloss in dare the dragon fruit.
I've been loving this lip product ever since i bought it at the beginning of the month, i have a full review on my blog Here
Its super soft, an amazing colour and just gives me that little hint of colour with out being over the top but also as a nice gloss over my MAC Rebel lipstick.
You can find this for £6.99 Here

The last product now leads me onto my next product..
Of course its the MAC rebel lipstick, I can't go on anymore about my love for this product I loved it last year over the colder months and this year the same thing. Its just an amazing colour that is really on trend.
This is £15 Here

Peaches and Cream eyeshadow pigments.
These where bought for me by my lovely girls (Hi my meatballs, Laura , Becca and Amy if your reading). I squealed a little inside when i opened up my present with a selection of beauty goods, and heartfelt best friend related memories.
Peaches and Cream is a Liverpool based makeup artist. They are amazing, the makeup and hair ups that these girls do are just incredible. It is ultra glam and they make you look absolutely stunning before your big night out / event etc... If i was you i would search for this on Instagram and have a nosey. Not only do they do Make up and Hair ups but you can go home with the eye pigments that they have used on you amongst other things.
I love these and i feel like I'm having the peaches experience at home. Such beautiful good quality pigments.
You can get them from Here and while your there check out their blog , photos and shop. I promise you won't be disappointed, and your bank will take a little hammering from all the amazing things.

Loreal Skin Perfection 15 Second miracle Cleansing oil.
I love love love this product and it has worked wonders on my skin, my makeup glides off with ease, and leaves my skin feeling beautifully cleansed and refreshed.
I just rub it in to remove makeup and then wash it off with water, follow up with the rest of my regime.
This is £7.99 Here

Estee Lauder Double wear concealer
im in shade 3 medium , this stuff is the bees knees, it covers my spots all day long with no cakey-ness on any dry areas, and it doesn't run off when I'm extra oily, if you love the double wear foundation then you will defiantly love this. Its staying power is second to none and just makes me feel that little bit more confident when I'm out and about knowing that my spots won't be on show for all to see and to point at.
This is £21.00 Here

MAC Vanilla Pigment.
I have been really loving this product this month, i use it all over my face, under my brows , in my tear ducts, down my nose and on my cheekbones. With the right application this can really set off your makeup. Its the perfect under the brow bone highlight I've ever seen , its just a perfect champagne colour that sets of any natural and smokey eye makeup. Especially with it being party season I've been wearing this most weekends.
£17.00 Here

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
This was a gift for Christmas for myself, as soon as i seen it in debenhams i had to have it.It completed my collection nicely and i just love the rose gold colours that it holds. Perfect for a day and night look but quite different to its sisters Naked and Naked 2.
Im so so pleased with this product and really glad that I bought it. I have a review and swatches on my blog Here

This retails at £37.00 Here

Last but not least..
Revlon Matte Suede 863 ruby ribbon nail varnish
Matt lips and nails where essential over christmas and january and this just set off my outfits splendid,A lovely matt burgundy colour which looked amazing next to my MAC rebel lipstick. The nail varnish stayes on for days too. If i wasn't feeling the Matt finish I would just put a lick of top coat over to bring the shine back.
This was a gift for christmas last year so I don't know the price but i have seen it on ebay for as little as £2.99 which is a steal for a revlon nail varnish.

Thanks for reading.
Comment with your January 2014 faves and they may just feature in my up and coming monthly favourites.

don't forget you can follow me on bloglovin and twitter too :)
