Hello my lovelies

Long time no see, I've been just abit all over the place recently, and now i have a spare minute to myself i thought i would get in the festive spirit and share with you guys my bucket list for all the things i want to do over the festive period.
Im all about friends, family, cosy jumpers, mulled wine, loads of warm cosy layers and amazing memories

I AM SO EXCITED for Christmas this year, mainly because i have boxing day off work too which hasn't happened in nearly 7 years :) i cant wait to just stay in and watch Christmas movies, programs that i have missed from the day before and eat some left overs. One thing i WONT be doing is heading into the city centre to shop.. seriously it should be all about family, relaxing, chocolate and some leftover turkey, in fact you may even spend boxing day a little hungover. No need to spend this day fighting the crowds in stores for a bargain. Do it from the comfort of your own home on the internet in some big fluffy Christmas PJ's.

I love this type of post, i like to see what others are doing and also get some inspiration of some of the things i could be doing myself. So if you have done this post then please link it below. I might even have to edit this over and over after seeing other things that i might want to do :)

In no particular order

Go to a Christmas Market, myself and my boyfriend have all ready made plans to head over to Manchester for their markets. We went last year and it is just so Christmassy. Really gets you even more excited for Christmas, Although this year instead of eating from one of the stalls we are going to book into Tattu and eat there. The menu looks so yummy. Obviously mulled wine is involved here :)

Have a festive night out with the girls , a yearly must for myself and friends, We have a meal and drinks and have a lovely catch up.

Christmas Jumper - Again with my friends we meet up all wearing something festive, usually a jumper and some Christmas earrings.. the tackier the better. Sit with a lovely hot chocolate looking at all the Christmas lights outside.

Go to a Christmas carol concert, oh I've actually never done this and i think it would be so much fun to do. Might even belt out a Christmas carol or two myself.

Make a gingerbread house - This is something that i would love to do with both my family and boyfriend. Again dressed super festive.

Decorate the tree/house -  Pretty self explanatory i do this with my boyfriend, my mum and sister in our house and in my grandparents house too.. with a lot of Christmas songs playing....

Listen to every Christmas song possible  - Magic is my channel of choice for any Christmas songs.. my fave is all i want for Christmas

Watch Harry Potter- I don't know what it is but watching Harry Potter just gets me in the festive spirit so much. In fact myself and my other half have started watching this.. Oh i wish Hogwarts was real, and i think id be sorted into hufflepuff too

Watch Christmas movies-  Again another must with both family and my other half

Go Ice Skating-  My hometown of Liverpool has a ice rink every year so no doubt ile be dragging someone with me to go round that. Hopefully i can leave the sides haha

If we had snow in Liverpool.. well enough snow to be able to play with it and create snowmen then the possibilities would be endless.

Id love to go to Iceland too and see the northern lights in the future and go to the Harry Potter studios and see the great hall at Christmas

Well that's it from me ..

Thanks for reading and let me know if you liked this post and if you have done anything like this then don't forget to leave your links below

Hey there,

You may or may not know that last week i was invited by the lovely people at Harvey Nichols Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool to their Art Of Style event that is in conjunction with the Liverpool Tate.
This was inspired by the current Jackson Pollock : Blind Spots exhibition
Jackson Pollock is widely considered one of the most important and provocative American artists of the twentieth century, who's work has made an immense contribution to abstract art.
To find out more information on this must see exhibition click here

Beauty Bazaar in association with the Tate are delivering a celebration of all things art and beauty. Customers can book in for daily artistic appointments with amazing brands such as NARS, Tom Ford colour (My choice) and Shu Uemura as well as contemporary brands such as Bobbi Brown, YSL, Laura Mercier and Benefit.
Its so good that Beauty Bazaar are doing this as it allows for consumers to combine inspiration from the movement of Jackson Pollock and the creative skills of the colour artists at Beauty Bazaar.

Well hello there,

You may or may not have seen on twitter and instagram that I have now added this into my collection. I've seen so many Youtubers and Bloggers Rave about this palette. So when Beauty Bay Selected me as the winner for there #FreebieFriday competition, I couldn't contain my excitement.

Happy Monday People,

Its been a while since I last posted and I've got to say i have really missed it. If you don't know I've been away for 2 weeks in Portugal, I stayed in the Algarve and spent most days enjoying the sun, eating all before me and drinking every night.
It was an amazing holiday and I can honestly say my skin has seen better days, what with the alcohol, greasy food and also my lack of makeup removal.
I did pack skincare minis but when i was swanning home at stupid o'clock , makeup removal was the furthest from my mind. I quite often opted for face wipes ( i know, please don't hate me hahah) which is just not a good enough cleanse.

As soon as i landed on British soil i couldn't wait to give my skin some TLC and take it back to how it was before my holiday.
I had a series of skin issues which needed tackling so instead of loading my skin with loads of products one after the other which i was sure would give me breakouts, I decided to do it all in one step.
My Skin was super dry , congested and clogged and could do with abit of brightening and exfoliating.
This Multi masking is making a debut and it makes so much sense to treat the different areas of your face with the mask that is going to match its needs.
I don't know about you guys but SPF is something that ive recently been concentraiting on and making sure that i add it to my skincare routine.

Since going for a facial in Beauty Bazaar where they took pictures of the deep layers of my skin that showed me the sun damage that I have. It has really made me think twice about leaving the house without any SPF on.

The pictures showed me the damage that i already have and how over the years if i didn't start using SPF how my skin would look.
This honestly shocked me because im not a sun worshiper and never sit out in the sun and always thought that the SPF 15 in my Day Cream and Makeup was enough.. I was wrong.

Although the damage isn't that severe its defiantly something that i want to change. The woman who done my facial told me that working in a place with strong lighting (A Store, Office based jobs ) can really damage my skin too and that is why even though im not in the sun a lot but i am exposed to lighting that i need to add a stronger SPF into my skincare.
So i will be using this all year round.. Remember an SPF is not just for summer and sunny days

I'm sure we are all aware by now I'm totally 100% obsessed with self tan. I'm not one to go and sit out in the sun , other than the fact that its harmful i find it just so boring even on holiday i can only lie on the sun lounger for 15 Minutes tops. I have skin the same shade as milk and I'm really quite fair. I like using tan to just take the edge off, make me feel more confident or just to look super sun kissed. I'm not afraid to go dark either.
So when the lovely team from make believe tan got in contact with me to try out a few of their products i jumped at the chance.

With the summer months upon us false tan is the best way for a safe sun kissed look.

"Our passion for developing a skin-caring, tanning range specifically for the UK market resulted in a range of self-tanning and makeup products to complement a diversity of skin types. Our philosophy is simply to make life easier, embrace those little indulgences from time to time and help your inner glow shine through.
The key to our success is our ingredients for beautifully tanned and moisturised skin. After all, a tan just makes us all feel more confident and beautiful both inside and out.
So join us, and become a believer and escape into a world where your inner beauty can shine through with a little help from Makebelieve"

They sent me a spa and polish exfoliator, the dark tanning mousse and the self tan mist.

The smell of the products is just Devine. Totally holiday smell sort of tuti fruiti.
The exfoliator isn't so grainy that it is too abrasive i just rub it all over the body to prep the skin ready for tan application. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth . I also use this in between tans to keep my tan fresh but also to stop build up and that horrible scaly skin that can happen with using false tan.

The Tanning mousse is just so easy to apply too. Just a pump or two for each section of my body onto a tanning mitt, and in circular motions I apply it. Again the smell is just amazing and it develops into a nice even natural glow, not at all orange either. I love that it has argan oil in to really nourish the skin because usually i find that self tan can really dry out my skin. Its really convenient too because this tan develops in 2-4 Hours (YAY)

I use the spray tanning mist in-between tans to keep up the glow, just a little spritz all over the skin and rub in with my tanning mitt. Again this has that gorgeous fragrance and develops within 4 hours. This tan is the darkest tan yet that make believe do. So sometimes ile only use this if I'm going on a night out just to amp up the darkness.

Left is with no tan, and right is with a light layer

overall I'm really impressed with this tanning kit, especially the smell, it is honestly the nicest smelling self tan that I have ever used.
At the moment I've got my eyes on the dead sea salt spa and polish it looks amazing and also the luminize skin highlighter.
I love that these products are all paraben free too and so so affordable. At the moment they have a few special offers on and the highlighter that I've just mentioned is currently £2. So for that price its defiantly worth purchasing.

Although this product was sent to me my opinion is honest and true.

Hello and welcome back,

Some of you may or may not known that a couple of weeks ago i started the slimfast challenge. Since then ive been tweeting like crazy (If you don't follow me on twitter i can be found here ) I also done a blog post on my initial thoughts and why i was doing it.

So the challenge was 2 weeks of following their simple 3-2-1 diet plan. 3 Snacks , 2 Shakes and 1 600 kcal meal

Hey guys,

So I just had to update you on the event that i went to today. Yet again MAC have brought out another new line that is just amazing.
Its very much based on 60's glam and that extravagant eyeliner. It has a very pastel look, which I just adore.
Last week i went in and picked up a few pieces from the line because I love anything pastel and it just all looked so pretty.

I received an email from a lovely lady from the Beauty Bazaar in Liverpool asking me if I would like to come down and attend the event.

This included a explore of the new MAC is beauty line, a makeover and a manicure. All while i sipped some cocktails and ate some cute little cakes.

The first floor of Beauty Bazaar had been transformed into the ultimate MAC salon experience. Complete with hair demos and nail artists.
The décor was to die for, all pink everything with a whole load of big hair and rollers (Totally into both of these)

I learnt so much about not just the line but also many other Mac Products. It really gave me a chance to ask all the questions I had about products but also to try them out and see how i liked them.

Emma, the lady who had invited me told me that i would be in good hands and she wasn't wrong, i was first introduced to the miracle makeup artist Jemma who works in Liverpool's Beauty Bazaar MAC Counter, who then escorted me to the first floor and sat me down in this amazing chair... May i add that i NEED this chair in my life.. How cute is it please?

All ready to sit back and immerse myself in the world of MAC is beauty

How cute is my little cakes?

Jenna then sat me down and went though what sort of look i would like to try, she gave me a introduction to the MAC is beauty line and then proceeded to get to work on my face.

Can i just say she has such good makeup artistry skills and completely transformed my face. She knows everything about MAC and also about application too. I learnt a lot an its also made me really excited to experiment more with my makeup that i wear now.
If your ever in Liverpool defiantly pop into Beauty Bazaar and check out all the counters its a Beauty Bloggers heaven

I love the little fizzy drink cans are used for rollers in her hair.. very Gaga

I honestly felt like a star getting my nails and makeup done, it was nice to get them done for once because i always do my own, they have a little tabloid that was made for the line and its quite funny so if your near a MAC store then pop in and pick one up.

This was the finished look..
Products used :
Prolongwear Waterproof foundation in NW20
Studio Finish concealer in NW20
Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Dark
Alpha Girl blush
Global glow M.S.F
Delineated/ Spiked brow pencil (Amazing)

On the eyelid she used Ivy Fluidline and undercurrant
Lay in law paint pot / Unitempted on the crease
Smoulder Khol Pencil and Pearlglide pencil on my waterline

Lashes she first prepped them with Prep and Prime lash and then Haute and Naughty Too Black mascara

I absolutely love this look, its really out of my comfort zone especially as im usually such a Matte skin and neutral eye type of gal.
The green really makes my eye colour pop.

Jennas eyeliner application is on FLEEK, she just blended away telling me step by step of the products she was using and why she was using them. She showed me each brush that she was using and at the end asked me if i had any questions, but throughout the makeover i was picking her brain over applications and shades, i also got her to show me how to contour because i wanted to scrub up on my technique and she did :).. All in all i was in Jennas Capable hands for about 1hr and a half which was just brilliant.

How perfect is the colour Frencb Chipped for summer?

Thanks very much for reading, and this event is on until sunday the 14th June so head on down and book your appointment.

Check out the MAC is beauty collection here

So Urban Decay are bringing out another eyeshadow palette for their Naked line.

As soon as I seen this press release I got somewhat excited. I have all the Naked Palettes and use them all just as much as  each other, I am a sucker for a neautral shadow.

I'm also a huge fan of the smokey eye, day and night ....
Let me introduce you to the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette.

Now I probably don't need another neutral palette but I defiantly will be purchasing when it launches here in the UK.
I think it has really dark grunge types of shades and I know you could go from day to night with this palette.

what's your thoughts?

Well hello lovelies,

Bit of a different post today but something I am extremely excited about..

When slim fast tweeted about the opportunity for bloggers to join the challenge I had to sign up,
Im in a constant struggle with my weight, My weight has really been getting me down for quite a while now, I lost 4 stone and was so happy.. I thought that because I was at my lowest weight and felt so happy I could let my old eating habits creep back in which has resulted in me gaining 3 1/2 stone of the 4 that I lost. This really gets to me and makes me so sad, Its one of those where no matter what you wear you feel disgusting in it. I started back on a healthy eating plan about a month ago and have lost 7lbs up to now but the clothes still have abit of a tight waistband.

I have a holiday booked for July with my other half and a whole load of friends and family (55 to be exact) Every year we book it and every year I promise to be a size 12 or at my goal weight of 9stone (totally unrealistic) Every year I pull out last years clothes and realise that none of them fit and have to go and buy a whole new summer wardrobe.
It seriously has to stop. So yeah... I signed up in hope that it will give me the kick start and weight loss that I want. I think once I see that I can do it then even after the 2 week challenge I wont give up.
The plan seems really easy to follow and requires hardly any effort from myself just a little old bit of willpower (Which ive seriously got right now)

Today I received a HUGE Parcel from Slimfast full of goodies for a challenge that they have set up. Its a two week challenge where you follow a really simple 3-2-1 plan. So that's 3 100 kcal Snacks, 2 meal replacement shakes and 1 meal that's of 600 Kcals (800 for men).
Slim fast have sent me everything that I could ever want to kick start this weight loss plan. I came home to a package with a tub of powder to add with milk for a delicious shake, a few on the go shakes, quite a lot of meal replacement bars which I think will be handy for in the morning when im dashing out the door for work or on the go, and a whole load of their own savoury and sweet 100kcal snacks.

Some of the flavours I received in the shakes that im quite excited to try are:
Mocha
Summer Strawberry
Bannana
Chocolate

The meal replacement bars sound delicious too with the choice of Summer Berry, Chocolate Crunch and Chocolate Peanut. Like i said before these may be so handy for my breakfast and lunch, plus they are handy for in your bag too if you are out and about and you don't want to pull out a bottle of slim fast shake from your bag, you can be discrete about your weight loss too :)

So as well as having two meal replacements a day you can also have 3 100kcal snacks as I said before, they have sent me a selection of chocolate bars that sound so yummy.. Chocolate delight, Chocolate nutty nougat to name a few or you could pick from a load of savoury options such as Cheddar Flavour bites, BBQ flavour tortillas and sour cream and chives pretzels.
Im thinking of having my 600kcal meal for my tea, and if you sign up on the website there is a whole load of delicious recipes

I think im going to be using these snacks mid morning or as a sort of after tea desert
Im sitting here at the moment so excited to start . (A Thursday , oooooh im breaking all the diet rules here hahah). I cant wait to see the results and i will be updating you guys at the end with my results and let you know how all the bars, shakes and snacks tasted, then if your like me stuck in a rut or for whatever reason want to loose weight then you can see my results and go out and get your own products and do the plan too. I wonder how hungry im going to be and if i will be temped to eat more but im going to stop myself from doing that and see the plan out fully and properly.

If you want to follow my Slim Fast Challenge journey then you can follow me on Twitter and Instagram , and if you want to see how others are getting on then just follow the hashtag #SlimFastChallenge Ive loved checking everyones posts and seeing a little community come together.

Right Im off and hopefully on my next slim fast challenge update you will see a little less of me ;) (Get it )

Thanks for reading .. Wish me good luck

Welcome back babes,

Summer is fast approaching , the weather is warming up and its time to get them legs out and keep them out of the hibernation we had them in over the winter months. I'm lucky enough to be this year going away on holiday for 2 weeks in the summer, so part of my summer holiday prep is a regular exfoliation and moisturise.

Even when im not going away I try my hardest to exfoliate once a week as im addicted to false tanning, and as any good fake tanner knows... Exfoliation is key.

Exfolation is one of those things that I find quite boring but I know my body loves me for it..
So when Jealous Body Scrub got in contact with me to review their coffee scrub. I leaped at the chance.Ive been dying to try a coffee scrub for some time. Not only does it benefit your body but its also quite good fun and a must for any coffee fanatic.

Hello My lovelies,

I've recently made a little bit of a splurge on some skincare items that I've been eyeing up for some time.

One of the items is this beautiful cleansing balm from elemis. I've never once tried anything from elemis and couldn't wait to give this a try.

I've only had this in my stash for nearly a week and I knew after the first use I had to update you guys on just how amazing it is.
So you could really class this post as a first impressions but I just had to get my laptop out and give you guys the lowdown.

Hello my lovelies,

This week where I live (Liverpool) the sun has been shining, the weather is warmer and with that brings a change, not only to skincare, clothing and makeup but also to my nails.
Its time to take off the oxblood, dark nail varnishes I've been obsessing over and change for a much more brighter colour palette and really introduce spring into my life.

Here are my top 5 spring nail colour picks..

Plus all of these nail colours are from the drugstore and 4 of them are less than £4.

Well hello there,

Todays post is my weekend skincare routine if you haven't already guessed from the title.

I absolutely love this type of post and I like to see what everyone uses on their face and sometimes it gives me inspiration to go out and buy products for my own stash and to try out.

This routine is what I use on a weekend .. mostly a Sunday for when I have more time and can really pamper my skin and add in some extra products.

Most of the products I use on a day to day basis but the little extras just make me feel super pampered and really ready for the week ahead.

Soooo lets get into it..

I love nothing more than a good pamper session, this involves me spending about 2-3 hours of me time and just letting myself think about nothing.

Part of my pamper session is tub time, this is where i really let my body relax and fill my bath with a whole load of bathtime goodies. Sometimes its a bathbomb from lush, a bubble bar or sometimes a whole load of Epsom salts just to wash away all of the stress and frustrations from the week. I especially like to do this if I've been having one too many late nights and just need my body to feel rested and well looked after.

I think a once weekly pamper is very much needed and is so important in my life. Its the only other time other than when I am exercising i get to myself and I can just gather my thoughts and drift off into a world of my own.

As you can imagine my bathroom smells like a spa and I just love it. Recently the guys from Nip + Fab sent me this trio of goodies to review and I am pleased to say I've absolutely loved them. I'm all about calming and relaxing scents and this just hits the spot.
Hey dolls,

Who doesn't love a good candle ? or for that matter who doesn't love a luxury fragrance set?

The guys from House Of Fraser have collaborated with me and sent me a luxury home fragrance set to review and also to give away to one of my lovely readers.

The set comes beautifully packaged and its a real treat to give as a gift or just for yourself.

In the set you get 4 beautifully presented items that just add abit of chic and sophistication to any room, I currently have them dotted all over my front room and back room to give my home this beautiful scent all over.

The contents are as follows :

A Pillar Candle, which just stands tall and i think looks really nice on a fireplace.

A room Spray, which I just love spritzing in every room and down my hallway so that when someone walks in they can instantly smell it and it lasts a long time too.

A diffuser, this is my favourite in the set it just looks great on my shelf but also little by little just diffuses the fragrance into the room.

A Jar Candle, which I have burning in my back room again not only does it smell amazing but looks so great.

I find the smell of this kit abit like my Tom Ford Black Orchid perfume, and I absolutely love this scent.
Its not so overpowering but just really gives your home that homely scent if you know what I mean and people who come over and visit have said how lovely it smells too which is always a bonus.

*This set was gifted to me but this has in no way swayed my opinion on the product/products

Detox January is well and truly over, the gyms are less packed (well mine is anyway) and for some people their new years resolutions are now a thing of the past.

If your still not feeling fresh since the party season, or wanting to just detox then I would really recommend this tea.

Hey Hey Hey Hey,

While I am on the theme of palettes on my blog take a look at this beauty

As we all know i am kind of addicted to the neutral colour eye shadow palettes, not a day goes by when I don't have some sort of neutral smokey eye going on.
For me its an eye look that goes with all of my outfits and such a safe bet.

Hey beauties,
If you haven't noticed I am all about the palettes, since trying the original Naked flushed palette I have been obsessed.
Safe to say I have used all of the shades up and I was in need of a new one.
Hey guys,

I've made another attempt at a youtube video.
This time as the title suggests, I am doing a get ready with me video on what makeup I wore when I went running.

Please let me know what you think

thanks

Alexandra Elizabeth
Good morning ,

I have recently started training for a few of the races that I have planned this year.
I'm not usually much of a runner and at my peak I was able to run a 5k no problem but very slow..

This year however I've decided to change that and really get back into looking after my body.
The thing I enjoy about running is how good you feel after it.
It's the only time I get to clear my head and I don't mind running with others.

This morning I am heading out with one of the guys from a run club that I go to.We live local to one another and thought we could train together.

So before I head off I thought I would update you with what I was putting in my belly to fuel my run.

A nice bowl of oats , topped with some almond milk. This is so good for you and I'm not that fussed on cows milk anymore.
Honestly it tastes amazing.
Then to finish a little blob of honey for sweetness. I have such a sweet tooth.

I am currently doing a 14 day teatox so I'm having a cup of their morning tea (delicious) and a banana.

I have two 10km races and a half marathon planned ..So I best get going ....

If you like posts like this please let me know in  the comments.
Also if you have posted any of your favourite healthy meals link them below

I am a sucker for eye shadow palettes especially the neutral ones, as soon as I seen this though I knew I had to pick it up, its like nothing that I have ever tried before. Its a cream eye shadow palette, that boasts some pretty amazing pigmentation. The colours are all metal shades and I just cannot wait to create some fabulous looks with this.

Hey there,

Its been a little while I know, but ive got a great hair care product to share with you and also you can be in with the chance of winning one for yourself.

When Roots and Rituals got in contact with me to try out their hair products, I jumped at the chance.

My hair is oily at the scalp and very dry at the ends, I wash my hair every other day, and always use a conditioner but my ends are just a mess from hair dying and the fact I used to have blonde hair doesn't really help the cause, I also have coloured hair that just lacks life and needs some TLC

Although I was sent this can I just say this stuff is amazing and is honestly the perfect products to add to your pamper routine.

Happy new year , seriously where did this year go? I blinked and it was over.

Its that time of year again when I decide my favourite beauty products of 2014.It was a hard one, and I have to admit I cheated a little bit.

Heres to a great 2015
Hope you enjoy watching my first ever video, I understand it needs a little work but I had great fun filming
