My Top 5 Spring Nail Polishes

Hello my lovelies,

This week where I live (Liverpool) the sun has been shining, the weather is warmer and with that brings a change, not only to skincare, clothing and makeup but also to my nails.
Its time to take off the oxblood, dark nail varnishes I've been obsessing over and change for a much more brighter colour palette and really introduce spring into my life.

Here are my top 5 spring nail colour picks..

Plus all of these nail colours are from the drugstore and 4 of them are less than £4.

Starting From the bottom we have the one and only Essie Fiji.. I love the colour of this although on my nails it leaves streaks but nothing to noticeable. For me this muted pink shade is the ultimate Spring, Summer nail colour and I think it looks great on all skin tones. Although 4 of the nail varnishes are under the £4 price mark, This nail varnish sits at £7.99 in Boots

Going Left we have A Barry M Gelly Shine nail varnish in Papaya, im obsessed with the formula of these. High shine and always an extensive nail colour selection. I love this Red/Orange shade. It always reminds me of holidays, sun and being happy. This is priced at £3.99 again from Boots

Another Barry M Nail paint but without the Gelly Shine Effect In the shade Berry . I absolutely love pastels especially in the spring, It always reminds me of the change in season and pastels are bang on trend right now too. A Bargain for £2.99 at that price you can afford to splash out and grab a few different pastel shades.

My last Barry M offering is this beautiful mint green/blue Gelly Shine in the shade Green Berry. This is such a ' on the beach' shade and will definitely be coming on holiday with me this year. It reminds me of cocktails and again holidays. Priced at £3.99 this certainly wont break the bank.

My last pick is this pastel blue colour from Rita Ora for Rimmel Nail varnish In the shade pillow talk. I cant find this in store any more but found it here for £3.69. As I said before i am all about the pastels this season and this has never disappointed me. The formulation is just perfect and completely streak free.

Im all about the bright colours this season, so if you have any suggestions for a colour that I just have to have then please put it in the comments below.

Thanks for reading

Alexandra Elizabeth
